The ASUS Republic of Gamers takes smartphone gaming to the next level as it has finally released the new ASUS ROG Phone 5 series. This is a big upgrade over the ROG Phone 3 that we saw last year. The gaming beast from ASUS is a feat as it brings the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, a 144Hz Samsung AMOLED display with 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a 6000mAh battery with 65W HyperCharge.
The ASUS ROG Phone 5 Series: Republic of Gamers’ upgrade to its gaming smartphone lineup
ASUS is going all out. This time there are three smartphones: the ROG Phone 5, in three RAM specifications: 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB, and it has two storage options of either 128GB or 256GB; the ROG Phone 5 Pro, comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage; and the limited-edition ROG Phone 5 Ultimate boasts the title, “The world’s first 18GB RAM smartphone”, and paired with 512GB storage.
The new gaming smartphone comes in two color variants: Phantom Black, and Storm White. The Pro variant in Glossy Black, and the Ultimate variant in Matte White.
