“On July 8, 2024, Globe Telecom Mobile Phone billing won’t be accepted as a payment method for new Google Play Store subscription sign ups,” stated on the Google Play Help page. “If you already have a subscription with Globe Telecom, to avoid any interruptions, update your payment method before September 2024.”
Alternative forms of payment in Google Play are as follows:
- Credit or debit cards
- Mobile phone billing for other network like Smart Communications or SUN
- e-Wallets: GCash, maya, and ShopeePay
- PayPal
