With a little bit of a surprise from Asus, the Taiwanese multinational electronics company has unveiled the first member of the Zenfone 4 line, the ASUS Zenfone 4 Max. The smartphone is packed with a massive 5000mAh battery and a dual lens rear camera.

The Asus Zenfone 4 Max smartphone, with its gigantic power of 5000mAh battery, will come with a 5.5-inch display and a 1080p resolution. The smartphone also comes in either a Snapdragon 425 or a Snapdragon 430. The RAM is up to 4GB and an internal storage comes in 32GB or 64GB variety with microSD card slot support.
The main camera on the Asus Zenfone 4 Max is a 13 MP shooter with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Panorama Mode, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom, Video Recording. The smartphone also has a Front Facing Camera capable of shooting 8 MP selfies.
The ZenFone 4 Max, as the first family member of the Zenfone 4 line has officially been unveiled in Russia. The official starting price in Russia is 13,900RUB, or approximately $235+/- in USD. However, there are no official announcements from ASUS to when will the smartphone device be available in the Philippines or other parts of the world.
Moreover, Jerry Shen, Asus CEO, told Taiwanese site Digitimes that the first device of the Zenfone 4 family will be unveiled at the end of July.

The monster battery-powered Asus Zenfone 4 smartphone comes in two variants, Snapdragon 430 and Snapdragon 425 paired with Adreno 308 and Adreno 505 GPU. The Snapdragon 425 quad-core model comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
