Alter Ego and Myth Avenue Gaming Secure Predator Shield Victory

Each team walked away with an impressive USD 65,000 in prize money, solidifying their positions as champions in the gaming world.

The Journey to Victory

After competing against top teams from 14 regions, Alter Ego displayed unrelenting teamwork to secure their VALORANT championship title. A dramatic twist in the Grand Finals saw Team ZOL Esports, the runner-up, rallying with six consecutive wins to level the score at 11:11 after a critical mid-game reset. However, Alter Ego showcased their resilience and tactical mastery to clinch victory.

Meanwhile, Myth Avenue Gaming triumphed in the Dota 2 Grand Finals with a commanding 2-0 win against Team Helios. The home crowd erupted in cheers as Myth Avenue Gaming lifted the Predator Shield, celebrating their emphatic victory.

India was announced as the APAC Predator League 2026 Host Country

As the curtains closed on this year’s showdown in Kuala Lumpur, Acer announced that India would host the next edition of the Predator League. Acer India office’s President and Managing Director, Harish Kohli, officially received the Predator League pennant from Acer Malaysia office’s Managing Director, Kon Tek Yoong, in a ceremonial handover. This gesture highlights Acer’s commitment to fostering esports and PC gaming ecosystems across the Asia Pacific region.

Special Awards and Recognition

In addition to the Predator Shield, ten special awards with a total prize pool of USD 20,000 were given in the Intel Allstar Vote for both VALORANT and Dota 2. Fans voted for their favorite players based on their respective roles, and each player in the Intel Allstar team for VALORANT, and Dota 2 Allstar Team took home USD 2,000.

The two-day APAC Predator League 2025 Grand Finals celebrated not just esports but also entertainment and community. Adding to the excitement, the Coswalk Competition featured Malaysia’s top cosplay talents, with standout costumes like Valkia the Bloody from Warhammer: Age of Sigmar by Vinca Kazuki and Thanatos from Persona 3 by Mak, among others. These impressive portrayals earned top prizes from a RM 25,000 pool.
